Hi, my name is Carol Bartel.   I run a small business in the decorative painting and surface design field.  

 This  journey began with my own home -  instead of Spring Cleaning I would Spring Paint.  I love Color and the way it makes me feel.  I sense discomfort in an unbalanced space and worse when incorrect tones are together. I have a keen awareness  for harmony within a space. This is where my creativity surfaced, within the process of  finding the perfect colors to harmonize with my feelings, and my personality.  The next step was building on that element and a plain paint colored wall just wasn’t enough so decorative detail came into play and my love for movement, texture, and depth was incorporated into my walls.  I could now create art and literally apply it to my walls.  So began the journey of ON THE WALL FAUX DESIGNS… Continue to follow my blog and I hope you enjoy my adventures on and off the wall.
